Chocolate and bananas are a great combination. We guarantee that this banana bread will not leave anyone indifferent!

    You will need:

    • 100 g melted butter
    • 2 tbsp. honey
    • 2 eggs
    • 3 large very ripe bananas (about 375 g mashed)
    • ¼ cup (62 g) Greek yogurt
    • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
    • 1 ¾ cups (245 g) flour
    • 1 tsp. baking soda
    • ½ tsp. baking powder
    • ½ tsp. salt
    • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    • 90 g chopped roasted hazelnuts
    • 90 g MULATE Light milk chocolate with hazelnuts

    Topping:

    1 banana
a handful of chopped roasted hazelnuts

    To serve:
MULATE Light milk chocolate cream with hazelnuts
    chopped roasted hazelnuts

    To prepare:

    1. Preheat the oven to 160 °C (top and bottom heating, with a breeze). Prepare a 11×25 cm muffin tin.
    2. Place the cooled melted butter, honey, eggs, very ripe bananas, Greek yogurt and vanilla extract in a mixer and beat until smooth.
    3. In another bowl, mix the flour with baking powder, soda, salt and ground cinnamon.
    4. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the batter. Do not overmix – mix until no dry flour remains.
    5. Stir in the chopped toasted hazelnuts and chopped chocolate.
    6. Pour the mixture into the baking dish. If desired, top with a banana cut lengthwise and sprinkle with a handful of chopped nuts.
    7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 65-75 minutes. Halfway through the baking time, cover the cake with a sheet of foil to prevent the top from browning too much, and continue baking. Check if the bread is cooked with a wooden skewer – it should come out clean when inserted and removed from the center of the cake.
    8. Cool the banana bread slightly, then cut into slices. It is very delicious when spread with chocolate cream and sprinkled with a handful of toasted hazelnuts.

    Delicious!
